Visiting Abbey Fields

Abbey Fields provides a piece of countryside on Histon’s doorstep that has open access for pedestrians. It is a link with our villages’ agricultural heritage, both recent and historical.

When visiting, remember, as with the countryside in general, the paths are uneven. After rain, and especially in winter, they can be muddy and slippery. In places the paths are hemmed in by bushes and long grass. As such, Abbey Fields is a quite delightful refuge from the hustle and bustle of daily urban life!
