Histon & Impington Christmas Weekend 2021 Fundraising Report

We were very pleased with the great support from the community at our stall at the Histon Smokehouse on Sunday 12th, as part of the events for the HI Friends Histon & Impington Christmas Weekend 2021. 

Hopefully many visitors will remember the fantastic wildlife photographs and video clips on display. We were able to explain our ideas for the development of the land management plan and importantly we were able to learn your feelings, ideas and visions for these splendid places.

We were very pleased with the outcome with nearly £8,000 received as a result of the day’s activities.

We would like to thank Simon and the staff at the Histon Smokehouse for allowing us to have the stall and we especially thank them for their significant donation towards our fundraising target.

Last, but not least, we also want to thank all of our volunteers who did so much to make the day such a success, whether preparing materials or being “on duty” during the day.
