An Exhibition of Curios - Dredging of the East Pond at Croft Close Set-aside

The pond has been part of a heritage landscape going back to at least Anglo-Saxon times at the dawn of the village settlement.

Come along to hear about the dredging of the East Pond on Croft Close Set-aside (CCSA) and find out more about Histon’s local history told through each of the items on display in the library.

Arnold Fertig will provide an explanation of the pond dredging and what the finds can tell us about local history. You can find a news article on the exhibition in the library here.

You can download a copy of the poster here.

A collaboration of Histon & Impington Green Spaces (Abbey Fields) and Histon & Impington Archaeology (HIAG)
