Katharine Holliday – HIGS new Chair

Katharine Holliday was appointed chair of the charity at the recent Trustee Board meeting, following on from David Jenkins. As many will know Katharine is passionate about nature and over the past ten years has been a leading advocate for the villages’ No Mow Verges scheme.

Along with this great enthusiasm Katharine brings the day-to-day experiences of bringing up a young family to the Board’s discussions as well as her insight gained when a practicing lawyer.

Katharine, who first became a HIGS trustee in August 2022, has taken on the role of Chair in addition to being the trustee having oversight of volunteers and their activities.
