From David Jenkins on behalf of the judging panel:

We are very pleased to share with you the names of the photographers who took the winning photograph in each of the two age categories - congratulations to Isaac Sanders (category up to age 12) for his photograph of a common lizard and to Evan Parsley (category age 13-16) for his photograph of a grasshopper.

There were lots of entries and those the judges deemed “highly commended” can be seen below along with the two winning entries. A special mention to Jack Brackley who had four photographs chosen in the lower age category. A very big thank you to all who entered, there were many excellent photographs. 

The winners were announced and presented with their prizes on the village green on 6th October, along with displays of their photographs and those of the runners-up. The stall proved very popular and many cakes were sold - all in aid of Histon & Impington Green Spaces the charity which supports Abbey Fields for the community.

Also, a big thank you to our two sponsors who very generously donated the two prizes.
